Jay Hatten is a third generation Northwestern Mutual Financial Representative. Both his grandfather, Homer Hatten, and his father, Steve Hatten, have had long productive careers with Northwestern Mutual.

Jay is a graduate of Furman University here in Greenville, South Carolina. He has been in Greenville since 1997. His wife Betsy who is from Union, SC, also graduated from Furman, and they decided the Upstate was a great place to raise their family.  Jay and his wife Betsy now have three children, Catherine, Will, and Anna.

Jay enjoys being involved with Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church and serving with the Greenville Rescue Mission. Jay and his wife love spending time with their family and running together in local races.
